I lived here for 2 years and was consistently disappointed. A few key issues: Move-in cleanliness: The unit was not cleaned prior to my move-in. I found dirt and grime that should have been addressed before anyone moved in. Maintenance and emergencies: A washing machine flooded the apartment, and there was a significant delay in response. The building is a electrical and structural nightmare… Now that it’s getting colder the building always smells like dead fish but it’s blamed on the “heating unit.” Animal owners annihilate the building, carpets, elevators and stairwells with animal excrement, DAILY. The AC/heat DOES NOT work in the hallways, so don’t let anyone tell you “it does.” So your bill is automatically higher because it has to accommodate for the lack of, in the hallways. Just a question do your 1 bedroom apartments alcove have doors to the bedroom?
The building is trashed, carpets are disgustingly stained and smeared with animal urine and feces and are cleaned MAYBE once a year. The AC DOES NOT work in the hallways, so don’t let anyone tell you “it does.” So your AC bill is automatically higher because it has to accommodate for the lack of, in the hallways. My family and I have lived three years here at the Ascent apartments. The staff at Ascent apartments has been professional, compassionate and supportive. Going above and beyond when it comes to Customer service! I would highly recommend this place to anyone. The current staff is exemplary!
