This company sent a letter claiming they have a 'financial matter with respect to someone who died in my family'. They are using public records to send letters and the 'financial matter' they refer to is a sales pitch to help with estate matters. Beware.
My father died and you're sending me letters and giving me phone calls to collect his unpaid debt?
These people are scam artisit with minimal knowledge. Our state does not have probate for smaller estates. They never bothered to check but plow ahead as if they know what they are doing. The manager I spoke tried to tell me CITI Bank whom they represent does not woe me an itemized statement —DUH! They are full of erroneous information which they stand behind.
