The care was great- the bill was not. They charged my insurance company $629 to look in my ears and diagnose an ear infection. Per my deductible my portion would be $197- self pay is only $125. Their billing department couldn’t explain this and then we were given the run around on who needed to explain this to us. We won’t be using this doctor again as every other urgent care in the area gives you the option to bill through your insurance or self pay- whichever is less. Went in and they quickly identified that I needed much more than what they could offer and had me taken to the ER. Where I was promptly admitted to the hospital and had to stay a for almost a week. I was told, by the doctor, I could have died if I had been treated and sent home by St. Vincent's Urgent Care but because of their knowledge, it was a better outcome. They are PHENOMENAL!
