Dr. Filippidis is not just an exceptional surgeon — he is the kind of doctor you hope exists but never expect to actually find. During my brain surgery, the scan room flooded and he lost access to the imaging equipment he needed to map the procedure. Most surgeons would have delayed or rescheduled. Not Dr. Filippidis. All staff were helpful. Nurses worked as a team to provide exceptional and responsive care around the clock. The Occupational and Physical Therapist were knowledgeable and were consistent and supportive in achieving necessary goals in promoting my recovery. My Surgeon and his team were exceptional and the surgeon worked quickly to give me the best chances for a full recovery from life limiting mibility problems.
I really appreciate their patience and understanding and I feel confidence that I will be in good hands at the time of my surgery.
