My girlfriend and I are having our first child, and we decided to go with Saint Vincent’s OBGYN. Everything was good at our first appointment but quickly changed soon after. The lady at the front desk was really kind and tried her best to stay positive. In the last nine months I have been treated at Ascension St. Vincent Fishers. Each time I was admitted through the ER. On my two previous hospitalizations I believe my time in the ER a was under four hours, this last time it was over nine hours. However, the nurse I had, Annette, was very attentive and helpful. She walked through everything with me. I was, again, admitted to the 3rd floor. This morning I woke up to let our cat into the bedroom cause he was meowing. I have fallen in the past and broke my right ankle. This time it was my left foot it just gave out. I do have neuropathy recently diagnosed two weeks ago from a neurologist. I took an ambulance ride to the hospital. When I arrive 5:00 am I was met by one nurse and doctor they did X-rays and gave me some medication in a shot for the pain. I happened to be there during a shift change. My daughter-in-law had a baby over a week ago. She was in there for 5 days. For the most part the nurses were good except a floater. Her bathroom was never cleaned nor was her room. She had to ask for toilet paper. After contacting the Director of Nurses we finally had someone come in and barely clean the bathroom. The day they were leaving my son was sick. Went to er.
