I’m not one to typically leave a bad review however, my experience in labor and delivery was sub par. I’ve had all three of my kids at this hospital and my last experience was terrible. I felt like I had the “c” team in the labor and delivery unit. I came in 38 weeks pregnant with contractions consistent with going into labor. I was also vomiting profusely and couldn’t keep anything down, not even water. The nurse, who appeared to either be new or some sort of temp nurse was awful. Our E.R. Experience was absolutely appalling. My mother was taken in via ambulance for severe back pain. She was then made to sit in the waiting room in a wheelchair (WHEN SHE HAD LOWER BACK PAIN) for 7 HOURS before we were finally given a room. We would have waited even longer had I not gone up to the window a 4th time to point out that while we understood there were no open beds when we arrived at 6pm it was now 1am and empty in the ER. Great staff, but terrible communication and long wait time I had a terrible experience at Ascension Seton Cedar Park for a stress echocardiogram. I arrived at 9:15am for a 9:30am appointment and was told to wait. By 10:30am, an hour after my scheduled time, no one called me. When I checked back with admissions , the clinical staff thought I was a no show because no one communicated after my initial check in. They finally got me in at 10:45am.
