Dr. Sandy and this office are completely scammers. This office has billing problem. I went for a regular annual wellness check but end up with 5 different bills from 3 hospitals. Apparently the doctor or billing splits bills to scamming the insurance and me. I went in and called multiple times. Nobody cares or can help. I went to ask about test results and they told me they LOST my blood sample and DOUBLE CHANGED me!! Ended up paid couple hundred just for annual. HORRIBLE birthing experience! For one the doctors were extremely racist and not helpful AT ALL. With this being my first child I can say the whole birthing team has no experience for black women all together. I still haven’t received my birth certificate or my SSN for my baby since August 23,2025, and when I call I get extreme negative push back from the birthing team. I have a really good relationship with the head of Henry Ford and will be moving forward with my lawsuit.

Why work in a field where you help people if all your gonna do is Dismiss their concerns, and not actually gonna give input for what they ask about or reassurance? Some sensitivity training is very much needed. Had my baby here, and frankly, never would go back.
I have come to this hospital my entire life, including watching my father pass away here. And never in my life have I been more traumatized than my visit to the ER yesterday. I'm 16 weeks pregnant, and my birthing team delivers out of this hospital. My team has no after hours number for care, and I had sudden spotting, and cramping, which was not normal for my pregnancy.
