The overall care here is absolutely awful. I was just in the hospital with my 97 year old grandmother for three days. Not once did I feel safe enough to leave her alone. It took three days of my complaints and me calling a patient advocate to get the doctor to even speak to me about what was going on. When the doctor arrived all she had was excuses and a bad attitude. She had no clue about the details of her own patient and couldn’t answer any of my questions. I have shown proof I cannot afford bill after a back surgery! I want to pay, they won’t accept my low payment. Dis heartening today!
I had back surgery on March 12 and then I had a spinal leak and needed a spinal catheter and spent 13 days on my back and not allowed to walk for the first 10 days. The nursing staff treated me with respect, answered my questions, comforted me when I was down. On March 14 visitation was canceled because of the Corona virus and the staff was there for me until my release on March 24. I was prescribed anxiety medicine. Pharmacy on file is express scripts. Nurse handed me prescription and said get filled at pharmacy of my choice as Express will not fill cause it is not 90 day dose. Got to pharmacy and they will not fill because it is at express. After two days and about five calls, still can’t get prescription. This is really ironic that trying to get a prescription for anxiety has now caused more anxiety. Isn’t that defeating the purpose. So I’m not getting in anxiety medicine!!!
