Stay away from Ascension - They inaccurately bill and refuse to fix it. We went to Urgent care for a quick exam for my son. The service was fine. We paid our urgent room co-pay upon services, and are continually getting an additional bill for an ER visit. We have been appealing the claim for over 3 months now with no progress. I completed the form, per their note below and they continue to say we went the Emergency Dept. Absolutely unacceptable treatment of my 77-year-old mother. She went in for a simple blood draw and specifically told the phlebotomist to use a butterfly needle because her veins roll. The young woman said she was not allowed to use them per her supervisor, and used a regular needle, and failed on both arms. Then she said she needed her supervisor.
