Great place to get treatment when you feel sick. Friendly staff
The Express Care was an incredible waste of time. Medical facilities are more worried about the scrutiny of the Medical Board & the DEA than they are the well being of their patients. This seems to be intrinsic and a systemic flaw of the medical community. It's no wonder patients are going to illicit alternative sources for their health care needs. I went to the urgent care facility at Ascension for bruised ribs and a bad cough as a walk-in. I was signed in and seen shortly, first for intake, then by a doctor, and had x-rays taken next. The doctor was very thorough in examining me to determine where my ribs hurt exactly and asked me pertinent questions about that and my cough. After the x-rays were read, she told me I had nothing broken, but then counseled me on how to treat the pain, especially when coughing. This was my first time using this facility and it was a great experience. From the front desk staff to the treating physician and nurse, they were all very helpful. Job well done. I will be coming back for any future needs.
