If I could give this place zero stars I would. I visited the Richmond St Ascension Urgent care in Appleton on 7/22/25 to be seen for a sore throat. I was there for about 30 minutes with wait times. Saw the doctor for about five minutes in total. She ran a strep throat test on me and it came back negative. Was told if it got worse to call. So I left with no medication and only a negative strep throat test done. Lynn Dahlke is an amazing provider. So knowledgeable and actually takes the time to listen to and address your concerns. Very friendly and easy to talk to. Our family of girls all see her and couldn’t be happier with the care from that whole team.
I went in to have my ear looked at because I was experiencing feeling like it was blocked and it was hard to hear. They took my measurements and vitals like normal, The dr came in and looked in my ear and mouth and said I was fine. No tests what so ever. I was billed 311 and paid it assuming that was the total cost for the appointment. I thought the original bill was high but it being urgent care in 2025 I just assumed that was the cost. Amanda Schumacher and her staff were amazing. They were compassionate and knowledgeable. I am thankful for their help and support. August 5th and unfortunately a return visit to Urgent care for a very disconcerting health issue. However My doctor,Amanda Schumacher is an Angel from God. Updating July 2025 - I received a second bill for $311 after my original $433 bill for a total of over $700, simply to have a sinus infection looked at. I'm pretty sure they billed me for an ER visit even though the first bill literally says "Urgent Care." The second bill talks about "Hospital Services," of which there were none. There was no special scope used, no X-rays, nothing like that. After a review of the charges, Ascension is still claiming they are correct.
