They never answer the phone and the doctor used AI (ChatGPT) right in front of me to type my symptoms in. Very unprofessional.

After being a patient for over 20 years I’m highly disappointed. The front desk staff can’t locate my insurance and run eligibility. They will tell you anything to get you off the phone. I was told 3 different stories regarding my prior auth which was denied because when they finally contacted my insurance they provided the wrong details. I have been going to Oakland Primary Care for more than 20 years. Dr. Ionescu is the most caring doctor. She takes her time and discusses everything that she needs to for you to know. If there are any questions that you have she will answer. She takes time out and will call you even if it off hours or on the weekends to follow up with a test results or medication that she recently prescribed to see how well you are doing.
