If I ever needed to go to the ER, I went to St John Oakland, I was very impressed with the short wait time in the waiting room and how fast I was seen by medical staff. Last night I had to make a trip to the ER because of a knee injury. Was very impressed with triage who wheeled me right back and I was seen by a nurse practitioner and x-rays were done immediately. I wouldn't even recommend this hospital to dogs. The nurses are horrible and lazy and wait on the pcts to do just about everything. I waited over 40 minutes for water!!! My roommate wet herself waiting on someone to help her to the restroom because the nurse felt it wasn't her "job". Worse place to go if you need real care. Could probably get better service from Michael Meyers!
