Positives: The facility is nice and peaceful, depending on what other families are there. Nursing/PCN staff was mostly compassionate and kind. My mother-in-law was brought in on Mother's Day. We were originally told she was only approved for 14 days of hospice, no mention on what would happen if it took longer than 14 days. Our family is deeply grateful for the way this hospice team cared for our dad in his final days. The staff were gentle and attentive, taking time with small things like shaving him and keeping him comfortable, which meant so much to us. They also respected our culture and final rites with such compassion and dignity, allowing us to honor our traditions and say goodbye in a peaceful way. My mother died at this hospice center on 12/13/2017. The staff and doctor were absolutely wonderful to my entire family. I forever grateful that my mom was treated with such care and respect during her final days.
