I gave birth to my son 3 weeks ago. It was a devastating and challenging situation, but my husband and I knew it would be going into it. I was admitted at 32 weeks due to preeclampsia. Every nurse and every doctor that I spoke with were comforting and helpful. The 2nd star was more for the nurses, they were great in NICU and hospital. However the providers will make decisions and not discuss with the parents or give any other options. But the WORST is the referral to Dr. Ceressa Longest, a pediatric opthalmologist that threatened us with DCFS for rescheduling one appointment, and then when we found another provider (because who wants to see someone who threatens and corerces you into staying with them?) they did in fact call DCFS in retaliation. Baby and mother floor is horrid, 5th floor. If you are a person of color please don’t go here. From anesthesia to post partem the process was dismissive and Tory yelled and threatened families there. I am filing official complaints and will try to require the video evidence
