Additional review after the response below: Thank you for your response - which is untrue. I want to clarify the situation just so others are aware. The $150 deposit was explicitly charged at the first visit as a no-show protection fee, not as an insurance copayment. Throughout the treatment, we paid according to each invoice. At the final visit, we asked if the deposit could be deducted from the final payment, but we were told it would be refunded by check after insurance processing, which would take about a month. I recently visited Dr Hu, and I couldn’t be happier with the experience. From the moment I walked in, the staff was welcoming and professional, making me feel comfortable right away. The office was clean, modern, and well-organized. Dr Hu was very patient and gentle. I highly recommend here for anyone looking for high quality dental care.

I’ve been going to Ascend Dental for about a year and a half now. They super nice, they answer all my questions when I have them and they’re quick/efficient. Their dental assistants are also amazing and are very gentle when conducting X-rays so I’m not sitting there in pain. I recommend them to all of my friends that are looking for dentists in the Boston area.

Today was my first time visiting Ascend Dental Studio as a new patient and my experience was amazing! Everyone was very kind, supportive and accommodating. Dr. Hu was very knowledgeable, gentle and patient with me and my dental needs, which made my entire appointment very smooth and comfortable. I will definitely come back for my routine check ups!
