Ascend was a great experience for me!! i met a lot of really cool and fun people there!! some people didnt like it, and there was some scary stuff like when people started to yell, but thats going to happen in a group therapy place anyways. most of the clinicians gave me a lot of support and were nice to me, i also met a lot of great and cool friends there (that i wish i still could talk to today)!!! the food wasnt amazing but one time they had watermelon s that was yummy. me and my friends would play mafia and stuff and we ... read more
I was first doing IOP here last year while I was still a minor, which I felt was ok not the best and then was stepped up to PHP due to another hospitalization which I hated more than anything. The group therapy aspect of it all didn't work out for me, not even in IOP. I had a great clinician, Natasha but when she left to work at the residential home, I got this new lady, I don't even remember her name and it was horrible.
