(there is no new manager) the building feels like an oven when you get out of the first floor, and the ceiling fans on the 5th floor are so close to the ladder if you walk up it you have to dodge it, when i just moved in, it hit my head and made me bleed, could of seriously hurt myself, told management and got no response (this happens often) how ever i do want to give props to Emily for finally calling the vent people it had been off for months if not years now, i had been complaining about it for months, she told me i shou... read more
This building is amazing! I had a such a good experience here. Emily is the property manager and she is amazing, super responsive, and always so kind. I love being creative with the small space of the studios and I appreciate the affordability. I love the Korean restaurant downstairs.
It smells like smoke all the time, im getting headaches, management does not reply to any emails. First day I moved in some screws fell off and the toilet handle. Nobody answer to me. They changed my unit 3 times and I was ok with it but they charged me some fees that nobody answered what they were for. There is nobody at the office. The smoke is my biggest problem I don't smoke and I don't want to get sick with second hand smoke.
I've been at Ascend the longest standing tenant. I know the other longest as well. 5-6 months behind me. We like the place and finally have solid staff. They put work in. Come see the place. Clean, secured, patrolled, its solid living. Go RIGHT downstairs to Boise DIstrict/N Vancouver/NWilliams districts for fun and exciting night life, lunch runs, convenience!
if you live on the garbage side you will be woken up in the middle of the night by LOUD BOOMS (FREQUENTLY) from the garbage moving around at 4 am also paper thin walls, and shitty air ventilation, got my stuff stolen from the community room. the only cool thing is the phone key fob they have, they have HIDDEN FEES that will ad up quickly. still would live here tho the 5th floor and mountain view is really dope. employees will just divert you to text message 95% of the time
