Unbelievable!!! Simply unbelievable! Last year we played all the football games at other parks where we didn't have to pay! Now all the football games are played at this park which they charge 2.00 parking. But when they decide to hold special events that we don't even plan on attending we have to pay 5.00 dollars!!! This park and the city should be ashamed of themselves for taking advantage of the people here in El Paso! Make sure you bring cash they don't have a machine that takes credit or debit! Pfft!!!
Good place to go n relax with friends n family...Fun feeding the ducks n fishing... Could b alot cleaner as far as restrooms n grounds keeping go... Miss the cruising there, wish we could all get along and bring the cruise out at Ascarate Lake back!
Great place for family's and anybody wanting a day out of the house. There is $2 parking fee on weekends. They have a golf course and driving range, a swimming pool with diving board and slide, walking/running path around the lake, SUP and kayak/canoe rentals (IF the rental guy is there, which always call ahead of time to check), soccer fields, playgrounds, and fishing.
I love walking early in the morning , it's peaceful and the walking path is great!
