The most greediest company. I have even seen was using a DJ to raise money for a little girl with cancer to help with day to day stuff and meds. Got told if they cant make money off of it. We would have to stop. Everything was already being donated and they want money.
Between 3 entities, Sesac, BMI & ASCAP, they effective hinder small business from making any kind of money. It’s extortion at its finest. They go after me but not a live music venue known for not having to pay anything. Some pretty classless BS.
Hands down ASCAP is the best in the PRO game. If you don't know PRO stands for Performing Rights Organization. They honestly and sincerely care about their members. I would recommend ASCAP to existing and rising artists.
