Called for ac repair service at our condo. They came out twice claiming that the HVAC needed to be replaced and quoted an estimate of 10k. They stated the unit was non functional and 20 years old and no coolant was made for this unit anymore. A second opinion was obtained and it was confirmed that the unit was dirty and the coils needed to be cleaned and within 2 hours of cleaning the unit, it was fully functional and cooling properly.
