Same story - ASAP contacted us to install HVAC equipment at 10 or so KFC restaurants, which we did. Along with multiple other repairs/jobs. They paid fine at first, but once we finished the last job, the checks dried up. Now their main phone number is not in service. Not surprised with a company that does business like this.

I was informed today that they have filed bankruptcy, just an FYI for anyone else who they owe money too.

I was contacted by ASAP Maintenance to install a walk-in cooler and freezer for a business in Silverthorne, Colorado. They called me with a five day notice, in an obvious panic, to have the work done. Because of seemingly poor planning, the equipment was already in transit from the manufacturer, American Walk-In, and they had no one to complete the installation. Their business model is simple. They find a new contractor each time their client needs something done in a given area and then simply don't pay them. They pulled this crap on me on a fairly large project which they brought me in on 2 days notice. I pulled off nothing short of a miracle for them, allowing the restaurant to open back up on time, under the agreed upon pretense that payment was to follow completion immediately- after all, I got no deposit due to the extremely short notice, and put about $7k into the job between... read more
