Back in March, I went to Asante Urgent Care due to severe back pain. Fast forward to now, I received a bill for just under $600, and I noticed that they filed the visit as an ER visit. I called the urgent care billing department, and they told me to contact my health insurance. My health insurance company then informed me that Asante Urgent Care would need to refile the claim. I am always constantly impressed. Wait times are nonexistent and the providers are great. Way better alternative than the emergency room. And they do open at eight, contrary to what some of the websites say. Great service!
My daughter had just turned 2 and ended up getting nursemaid’s elbow (we didn’t know it at the time). We took her to urgent care because she was crying and saying her arm hurt. We aren’t from Medford, so we weren’t familiar with the area. We walked into the office and were in and out in less than 30 minutes. The doctor was AMAZING! Honestly, better than her primary doctor. Unusually deceptive billing: ask for an ESTIMATE! They bill you $$$$, for an emergency room visit, even though you're there for a routine visit typically covered under lower urgent care fees. They don't disclose this unless you ask! Most urgent cares bill you for a simple office visit. Go elsewhere.
They never help and whenever I go there cause I nearly had mastitis one time and my oldest daughters ear was infected due to her not letting me clean out her ear piercing and when they "helped" they were extremely mean and rude and I will never be going to or bringing my children here again at this urgent care in this specific location
