Hospice services were a phenomenal help and guidance through my husband's illness. They took care of every detail and were so kind, knowledgeable, and considerate!!
Just over 6 weeks ago, my mother-in-law was diagnosed with metastatic lung cancer. Although her actual time with hospice was very limited, we found every member of her team to be most professional, deeply caring and attentive to her every need. This experience, combined with my personal observations as a volunteer with Asante Hospice, gives me great confidence to highly recommend them to anyone who is looking for a hospice provider.
My experience with Asante Hospice was beyond outstanding. They took care of my partner who had cancer and the level of empathy they showed towards her, myself and my family was beyond belief. Every day they were at our home trying to make my partner more comfortable due to severe pain from the cancer. My sister was on hospice after fighting a year and a half battle with liver cancer. The nurses and social worker at hospice were beyond caring and loving for my sister. We had one incident with a doctor that made it lose 2 stars. She ripped into our home one day without notice with all of my sisters team. She began to chastise my family and I over some meds that “were missing” when it was a mistake on the pharmacy and hospices end. Through this whole experience I have felt only love and support. It is so hard living with cancer and watching the people you love battle something you can not fully comprehend unless in the same position yourself. I am someone who never asks for help because I forget that there are resources available to me.
