My wife of 50 years went on hospice in Medford Oregon. She passed 6 weeks ago after 7 months on Hospice. I can't say enough positive things about how the saved me during the most difficult time of my life. This did not stop after my wife's passing. I love the people and hospice for their love and support. I would make one recommendation. When a patient comes on hospice, give them the grief information up front then after the patient passes away. Following a long fight with ovarian cancer, my wife decided to stop treatment so she could have a few good weeks off chemotherapy and as such started home hospice care with Asante Hospice.
