I came to Dr. Hussain at one of the most difficult points in my life. I took issue with how seriously he took his image during the first session. Before he even asked my name, he said, “Be sure to give us five stars on Zoc Doc!” I knew it was downhill from there. He has a terrible bedside manner. When dealing with people with mental health disorders, a doctor should be patient, compassionate, and attentive. Totally unreliable. Canceled two appointments in a row, last minute.
Dr. Asad Hussain has canceled on me more times than I’ve seen him. I get a message from his office directly before our session is supposed to start, only to be notified he won’t be in. I rearrange my work schedule constantly for him, only for him not to show up in the end. He is very impersonal and the session is very transactional. I’ve given him multiple chances, but the instability is very consistent. This provider is not worth your time if you’re looking for any sense of stability for your mental health, I promise.
I scheduled an appointment then it was canceled without advance notice. The billing department text me that I cannot schedule an appointment without first paying an out of pocket 3,050 deductible. First I never authorize billing information to be sent via text. secondly I explained I have a HRA attached to my insurance and it pays my deductible.
