Dismissive. Today I spent $100 for him to take me in his office, look at my scans for 2 minutes, and not answer the questions I was asking. He did not even take the time to examine me or ask if there has been changes since the last time I saw him. He shows no genuine care or concern.
This was my first—and last—visit with Dr. Sheikh. I was referred to him by the hospital at discharge for post-hospitalization follow-up. From the start, I felt my concerns, my primary care physician’s input, and the hospital’s recommendations were dismissed. When I asked questions, he was smug and dismissive, even chuckling as he offered to refer me to a new primary physician—despite my having no issues with my current one.
