I'm glad I gave ASA a 2nd chance. They are doing the Sunday all-you-can eat sushi the right way now. Whereas before many specialty rolls were an extra fee, they are now included in the $23.99 price, along with the appetizers. We got dumplings, crab rangoon, edamame, and 5 sushi rolls. I especially liked Missouri, Godzilla and Catwoman rolls. The crab rangoon, dumplings and edamame were all very good. I'm happy to see this positive change in their menu. Come here once a week. Food is amazing. I have withdrawal if I miss a week. Missouri Roll. Heaven.
So I have eaten here numerous time and have always felt the food was decent- certainly not awesome as so many have posted - but ok. The problem is when you're struggling business trying to get people to come in to your restaurant making stupid rules defeats the purpose. Amazing sushi but the service hasn't been up to par lately.
This is our favorite sushi joint in KC. We love this place. Highly recommended.
Sushi was amazing and service rocked! Saturday nights they have a DJ come in and play a live show at the bar. The music is great, drinks are very well priced, and it's an all-around great environment to eat and enjoy a bar experience.

We love this restaurant! The sushi is incredible, hands down the best in the area. Every roll we've ever had has been delicious. Impressed with the quality. We often do delivery, which is a HUGE perk of this restaurant. If you haven't tried the delivery option, it is SO worth the $3. So happy to see a great restaurant in this area.
