I cannot recommend AS1 enough. Hands down the best shop i’ve ever had the pleasure of working with. Adam did a lot of performance work on my previous car, and has now done a bunch of work on my MK8 Golf R. We did a big turbo, MPI, intercooler, downpipe and exhaust, sway bar, and all the other bits and bobs. Some of the parts i bought didn’t fit super well, but Adam and Bryan managed to modify them to fit, and their work looks 10x better than the work from the factory that made the parts. Being a brand new customer here Adam was very personable, professional and honest to do business with. My volkswagen needed a few parts in order to pass inspection. He informed me specifically what needed to be done, and gave me options on how to proceed. I opted to have him do the work and he was able to work me into his schedule. Adam at AS1 is an outstanding representation of what a business should and operate like in the automotive industry. Great mechanic, fabricator, communicator, and one of the most sincere people you'll ever meet. He sets the eight expectations right away and communicates throughout the process so there are no surprises. I take my GTI to AS1 for all services or needs. He completed an engine swap on my GTI putting in a 2013 TTRS engine that functions as intended. OEM+.
