What a fraud, this guy is NOT a skin cancer specialist let alone an honest human being. Every time I was seen in his office over the past 5 years he has had new staff. All of which are always so pleasant and very knowledgeable. He had a fantastic group of girls about 2.5 years ago and they are gone, it says a lot about a doctor when the turn around is so high. First, let me say the office staff is excellent. Having that out of the way, my experience with Dr. Herrera was quite different. When I initially went to see him, it was for an earlobe tear. He told me my insurance would not cover it without even checking, even though he was a participating provider. Soo we scheduled the surgery, minor as it was. Dr. Herrera,. He is one of the best Dr.s I have ever seen. He's caring, pleasant and explains everything. His staff is just like him. I was referred to him and I am so thankful. I only gave Dr Herrera 1 star due to the staff. I went to him 10 years ago and twice he tried to fix the horrific plastic surgery he did after my mastectomy and it still looks awful. The worst bed side manners imaginable.
