In the past 7 years I have been to 2 different eye doctors several times. My vision was deteriorating so bad I was not able to read street signs, not to mention enjoy the scenery on a few trips. I asked about cataracts but was put off, and it made me very frustrated. I finally found Dr Smedley who truly heard, he ran many tests and concluded my cataracts were the problem. He removed them and it has changed my life!! I would also like to mention the staff at the office are very helpful, friendly and efficient.
My cataract surgery was easy and the staff was efficient and very professional. Dr. Kumar took the time to explain the procedure in depth. Everything went along as planned and in a timely manner. It was a good experience!
The front desk people are awesome. The doctor is great. The new medical assistant was friendly but awareness, perception, and job performance was bad. Never experienced this here. She was more in a rush to get people quickly moved through, bumping other patients in a small equipment room,, taking occupied patient rooms where there costs/purse/possessions are there , not understanding what the patient came in for causing patient to come back and then the patient waits anyway for the doctor.
Doctor Kumar is literally the best! I've been helping my 80 y/o friend navigate with cataract surgery in both eyes while also having wet macular degeneration. He's given her her sight back with skill, kindness, and amazing bedside manners! Fantastic doctor! Fantastic staff! Even fantastic eye glasses area right in the office! Thank you so much for giving my friend more time with her sight and independece!
Dr. Kumar is a credit to his profession. I have been a patient of Dr. Kumar’s for over 20 years. He disappeared from his last practice. I am delighted that I found him again, at Arvada Eye Associates. He is by far the very best ophthalmologist that I’ve ever had. Two enthusiastic thumbs up for Dr. Kumar!
