Dr. Aruna Seneviratne is an outstanding orthopedic physician. He took the time to listen to my concerns truly, answered all of my questions, and never made me feel rushed. He was compassionate and understanding, and he explained everything clearly, which made me feel comfortable and confident in my care. It’s clear that he genuinely cares about his patients and wants the best outcome for them. I highly recommend Dr. Aruna Seneviratne to anyone looking for an orthopedic doctor who is knowledgeable, patient, and truly listens.
I was able to get a timely appointment. The office did x-rays of my affected body part (shoulder) before I saw the doctor, so he had those to refer to at the start of my appointment. Dr. Seneviratne was very attentive, did a thorough exam, diagnosed the condition, and patiently explained different potential treatments with the risks and benefits of each and the likely outcomes. The care I received from Dr. Seneviratne and his team at Mount Sinai is outstanding. He has diagnosed, operated on, and referred me to physical therapy for both of my knees; each time I healed well and was able to return to being active again. I hope I never need another orthopedic surgery, but I certainly recommend Dr. Seneviratne if you do.
