“I have always been able to talk to the doctor and get my problems resolved. Coming here is like dealing with trusted family. Would not consider changing doctors.”Dr. Patel is one of the few that listens and fixes the problem. Highly recommend him!
Dr. Patel is an extremely good psychiatrist. My daughter was previously diagnosed by another psychiatrist in the area with bipolar depression 7 months after her Dad committed suicide. We made an appointment with Dr. Patel for a second opinion. Within 15 minutes of observing her behavior, he gave her a questionnaire about ADHD. After diagnosing her, he gave her prescriptions for anxiety and depression, but was conservative with the doses. She went to a follow up appointment and based on her feedback upped the dosage. Highly unprofessional. Waited weeks for first appointment and doctor failed to show up. No one called to cancel or reschedule.
I have seen Dr. Patel for 8 years and he has literally saved my life. He listens, doesn't discount what you are telling him, is very knowledgeable, will see you on a moment's notice and shoots it straight with you. He has adjusted my meds many times over the years and pays close attention to my feedback. Fabulous doctor!!
He's been my doctor for two years now. He only sees adults from what I hear but I'm a child and he sees me as a favor to my family. He's kind hearts and always listens and if you don't agree with one pill and don't like it he will tell you another that will do some of the same work to help.
My wife became clinically depressed, unable to function for almost a year, staying home and avoiding stores and people. I felt hopeless, as did she. Our daughter in pharmaceutical sales queried her clients and learned of Dr. Patel. He was extremely reassuring even at our first visit, and within 3 months my wife's life and joy had been restored. He adjusted meds for a few visits, but now she is fine. This was about 8 years ago. I remain extremely grateful to Dr. Patel.
Dr. Patel is not only the most amazing doctor in the whole wide world. I have many health issues that cause chronic pain, anxiety, depression, etc. He was the first doctor to really listen to me; to him I am a person and friend, not a patient or credit card number. He is kind, funny, and knowledgeable about many different drugs and illnesses, even those that don't relate to mental illness. Dr. Patel is a God-send for me and my family. He will make room in his schedule on a moment's notice, also.
Poor bed side manner. Pushes to many rx drugs after seeing you for 90 seconds. Does not seem to care about patients only profit. He will not warn you about secret charges and I'm my opinion doesn't not really care if his clients get better as long as they come back. The worse doctor in my life. STAY AWAY!
BEWARE! This doctor took $450 from my daughter in pre-payment for an appointment. My daughter was ill the night before the appointment and called at 4 am leaving a message canceling her appointment. They told her when she called to reschedule that it would be a $250 rescheduling fee. My daughter declined to reschedule and asked for her $450 back assuming that she would have to pay a $30-$40 fee for not canceling the appointment within 24 hours. They refused to give her money back. BEWARE!!
