I enjoyed my visit with Dr.Garrett he was very informative knowledgeable and he helpful.
I have been seeing the VCU health doctors for a while. Dr Sanyal is kind, patient and a great listener. He has a very nice medical office and staff that is great from start to finish. As a result of him sending me for the right test, he suspected something on my lung. Yes it was cancer. He referred me back to my PCP, then she referred me to a thoracic surgeon. It was caught early and so far no chemo or radiation. I give my team an A+.
Dr. Garrett and his staff are A+ in my opinion. Very professional and thorough. Highly recommend.
Dr. Garrett removed a basal cell carcinoma from my ear. He and his staff were very competent and caring throughout, making sure I knew what the procedure entailed, and that I was at ease with the surgery. He removed a small portion and after examining the tissue said that margins were clear and that I wouldn’t need a skin graft, just keep the wound clean and bandaged until the follow up exam. I definitely would recommend Dr. Garrett and Forefront Dermatology for any skin concerns.
He seems very good. Done two procedures on me and both went well.

I had a RF ablation 27 years ago and Dr Ellenbougen gave me my life back . With 2 small children and a business to run; I was able to go back to work within days. Thank you Dr. Ellenbougen and may God continue to bless you and the people you care for with your care.
If you are looking for a cardiologist whose goal is to recruit patients for his research studies and to provide data for his paid public speaking events, Dr Ellenbogen is a good choice. However if you are looking for a cardiologist to help with your individual cardiac health, try another provider. He came in the room with no knowledge of my cardiac history and the recent invasive procedures done at VCU. He could have been talking to anyone. I could get more information from Wikipedia. So thankful we found Dr. Ellenbogen to treat my husband for Atrial Fib. Other doctors were not successful in getting him back in sinus rhythm. But thank the Lord for Dr. Ellenbogen. He listens, spends plenty of time with patients, and cares. Good bedside manner. Would definitely recommend him for difficult cases.
