I wasted 7 years of my life going here, trading a heroin addiction for methadone addiction. It's almost impossible to stay clean going here.
I find this to be the most relaxed of 7 clinics I've been to ,both in and put of state...councellors& groups are better too...I kno it'll be possible to get settled off methadone in due time tòo.
ARTS is a terrible place to work! It is run by a cabal of mean, self important people and 1 staggeringly inept man. You will be joining some nice counselors who are each treated poorly, are completely unknown and uncared for, but who still do a great job for their clients. You will be underpaid and pretty much never get a raise. Absolutely no promotions. As your tenure increases, you will be nothing but a list of your mistakes and any achievements will be ignored. This clinic is the only one I haven't had issues with from what I've seen lots of resources and help provided.
It’s a methadone clinic and a pretty good one at that honestly. They have security guards. It’s a tough program but it’s given me my life back. Thank you guys for working with me and putting up with me, I’m not the easiest person to get along with, I’m not the most stable, and my counselor always works with me and is understanding. But it is a tough program. Tough but fair.
