I rented an apartment at Artisan Square for a little over a year (05/02/21 - 06/30/22). My experience there was quite pleasant. The neighborhood is nice and peaceful, the property is pretty well maintained and there's a decent price-to-quality ratio between my cost of rent and the amenities and quality of finishings and furnishings in the apartment. Good place, but with a catch. Overall, the apartment itself was great and was a nice neighborhood. The community is quiet, while there’s a bunch of cool local restaurants and an easy commute to Madison. However, this place isn’t worth it. Between dealing with an incompetent and unprofessional manager and literally getting robbed from our security deposit, the apartment is stripped of its charm. As a tenant for almost two years, I can say without reservation that this property is one of the most outstanding ones in Madison. Besides its nice location on the east side, the other tenants are respectful, friendly and most of all, quiet! The building is well-maintained and for the times that we've required assistance, they've been timely, professional and efficient! We will be pleased to consider Artisan Square our address for years to come!
