Gene, the owner, extended and faced our existing chimney that went without issue for almost 60 years. It began to leak just months after he finished the job. Multiple unanswered calls to Gene. He finally called back and came to look at issues only to say he couldn't repair it for a few more months and only offered tarps for the water coming through into the house in the interim. Our chimney was leaking and was restored by Artisan. We paid in full and once we did he (the owner) informed us that he could not do the final necessary caulking until Spring because it was now too cold. A year later the chimney still leaks and repeated phone calls over the last year have not been answered. While the construction was well done he just didn't finish the job.
