I’m a care companion (“unofficial chosen family”) at Artis Senior Living in Wilmette. I’ve been with my wonderful memory care client/lady for over three years. I don’t work for Artis, but I have to say I’m proud to be part of the Artis in Wilmette community. First and most important I want the best for my client. My mom has been at Artis for over 3 years. We have had a very positive experience there at a very difficult time in my mom’s life. One of her main caregivers - Lisa - has gone above and beyond. My mom always scans the room and finds her. She smiles and laughs and asks for a hug. Lisa has made her feel loved and secure during this very difficult time. Thank you!!
