We moved my dad in to Artis a month ago. The staff is lovely, and warm. He especially likes the outside walkway and patio , when the weather is good. Unlike other facilities we looked at the individual rooms do not have their own heat/ air controls. It is often cold in my dads room, and with the weather turning colder each day, this is a concern for us. If they could fix the heating , it would make a world of difference for us.

I visited this community for one of their special events at which they showcased their facility and services for those with memory care needs. It's beautiful and I loved the way the building is designed as a set of neighborhoods where the residents live. The staff I met were very compassionate and enthusiastic about their mission to bring health and joy to the families they serve. What a wonderful place for relatives to receive care and love!!
I visited Artis Senior Living in Reading today, and the building and grounds are beautiful! With small group dining rooms, a bright and spacious lounge area complete with ice cream parlor, and great walking paths surrounding the community, residents are sure to feel right at home.
