Barbara had lived at home for 9 years before needing a memory care facility. She entered Artis of Lexington memory care facility four-and one-half years ago. It was a great decision. Barbara’s caregivers were personable, caring and dedicated to her comfort, safety, and joy of life. The staff at Artis provided superb care for both of us and I do not believe that Barbara would have lived as long or without anxiety without Artis. My husband is receiving very caring and respectful services at Artis. Kayleigh. who runs the programs is doing an excellent job and truly seems to enjoy her work with the residents. The nursing staff especially Kristi and Michaela are top notch. I could never replicate at home the kind of daily stimulating programs and care that he receives. I am able to bring him home on the weekends and his weeks are full with adult focused activities. For us this is working so well. Thank you Artis!
It’s difficult to single out one person, since there are many Artis associates who do a great job. If I have to single out one person, it will be Woman in the Lexington neighborhood. She is always available to help me and Joe in many ways to numerous to mention. I know she takes good care of Joe, especially when I am not there. If I ask her to help me in any way, she is right there for me. She truly is the best!!!
