ARTIS is an awesome company to work with. Several years ago a vehicle ran into the front of the Food Pantry at the Linnton Community Center. The car crashed through the front window and severely damaged the wall between the Food Pantry & the adjacent child care center. The tow truck company refused to remove the car from the food Pantry for over a week because they were afraid it would collapse the wall adjacent to the child care center. Artis is the real deal, we have been fortunate enough to have worked with Artis for 5 plus years, we have been on a number of projects ranging from a residence dig out, to a 5 story apartment complex downtown Portland, we have even traveled to the coast for a project excavating for a Fire station building for tsunami preparedness, we even participated in some donation work along side Artis excavating for the Scappoose scoreboard project at the Scappose High School. We have used ARTIS for many landlord improvements (and our tenants have used them too) in a complex, mixed use development. One of the best things about working with them is that they just "take care of things" and I don't have to worry about it. They understand both the construction and business side of things which is very important when dealing with timelines and the different parties involved. I highly recommend them based upon really good experiences in working with them on many complex, commercial buildouts.
