Located on 14th Street, Artichoke Basille's Pizza & Brewery; generally just called Artichoke, serves up a deep slice of pizza. The slices are thick and dosed heavy with toppings, creating a deep-dish and almost buttery effect. Full pies are also available for delivery. The place is tiny and creates an intimate setting to watch the pizza-makers while you wait. Artichoke is an excellent way to finish the night, though you might extend your night as you'll no doubt queue up for the best slice in town.

The ultimate in LARGE cheesy artichoke pizza!! ...gonna try the crab slice next!!!
Artichoke slice is always worth the wait. Just try to either wait a minute or blow on your pizza or you'll burn the roof of your mouth.
Get either the artichoke or crab, or both.
The crab is made of artificial crab and tastes just like what you would expect, and the artichoke is sometimes too much, but the margherita pizza is everything you could want and more.
No matter the time, be prepared to wait in line, but the specialty artichoke slice is worth it. The margherita is also delicious. Located near many East Village bars and open well past last call.
Open till 5. Get here early or late. But I'd you get when you think you should, expect a huge line.
