Located on 14th Street, Artichoke Basille's Pizza & Brewery; generally just called Artichoke, serves up a deep slice of pizza. The slices are thick and dosed heavy with toppings, creating a deep-dish and almost buttery effect. Full pies are also available for delivery. The place is tiny and creates an intimate setting to watch the pizza-makers while you wait. Artichoke is an excellent way to finish the night, though you might extend your night as you'll no doubt queue up for the best slice in town.

amazing, i lived in italy for a while and this pizzat is just perfect
Don't expect much when you get to the place... but be prepared to be blown away when you take your first bit of their unique pizza flavors. Artichoke is my fav!!! 1 slice will most likely fill you up
This is arguably one of the best slices in NYC. Definitely try the artichoke and margherita pizza - both are excellent!

Yes, it's a bit overrated.
You can't go somewhere named Artichoke Pizza and not at least try it. Good thing a perfect balance between the melted sauce, cheese, artichokes and not too much salt makes it incomparable to others.
This is the best pizza spot ever.
Yuck! I had the signature artichoke slice. Very thick and very big. Much too greasy and heavy for my stomach! The grease dripped all over my pants. For classic NY pizza, try Grimaldi's or Patsy's.
A single slice of Artichoke will fill you up. The amount of cheese on it is just obscene! :)
