Very good food and the wine was excellent bit pricey but worth it
wonderful sunday lunch
I had really been looking forward to trying Arthur's for a Sunday lunch but sadly I was disappointed. We ordered the beef and the chicken and whilst the chicken was lovely, the beef was tough. There was too much watery gravy swimming around the plates and the veg was pretty tasteless. The giant Yorkshire pudding was more gimmicky than practical, the smaller ones coming out later on would have been preferrable (maybe give the option of which size Yorkshire pudding when taking the order). 100% recommend Arthur’s! I visited with a group of girlfriends for a long-overdue catch-up, and we had such a lovely evening. The atmosphere was fantastic, the food was delicious, and the drinks were great too. The staff were attentive throughout, regularly checking in to see if we needed anything more. Went Friday night with friends… can’t recommend enough. Gorgeous food beautifully presented, (dangerously) good cocktails, friendly service and brilliant live jazz music - at just the right volume so we could still chat. The owner Carley, and the team have created something really special, you can tell how much care and attention to detail has gone into this place. New favourite local ❤👏🍸 P.S. Espresso Martinis are 🔥
