Has good Experience but poor medication and Pain control Medical Management. Definitely needed to Retire. Dr Bacon lost delicate Physician-Patient interpersonal Communication Skills. I was and still am in Pain Anesthesiologist Medical Management for which Dr Arthur Jeffrey Bacon adamantly disagreed with. Things got so bad with this Physician that I developed benign Essential hypertension. He has to be Right all of the time and toward the End of my Care with him this Physician Very Cruelly And Unnecessarily put me into tears ... read more

Dr bacon has been my doctor for 15 plus years. I'm in the medical field and know many docs in tucson. I would absolutely recommend dr bacon. He is ny far the best doc I've ever had. He listens ,he responds,he is caring and takes his role as a doc seriously. He personally calls when I get test results. He gets to know his pts. He asks about my kid whom he has never met, each time I see him. I cannot say enough great things about him.

It is unfortunate the previous commentator rated Dr. Bacon on procedural guidelines and his right to accept a patient rather than his actual medical knowledge and practice. I have been a patient of Dr. Bacon for many years. He is one of the best doctors in Tucson. Dr. Bacon is very knowledgeable, compassionate and takes the time to know his patients. Whether in routine office visits, emergencies or after-hours he demonstrates a high level of care for both young and old patients.

Feb. Dr. Bacon took me as a new patient w/ 1st appt in May. At the appt I had a glitch w/my insurance (NO effect on payment) but they would not see me. Said they would call & reschedule. They now say I am marked 'self pay' so Dr dropped me. I have insurance, why drop me? She said Dr's have the right to refuse patients. No logical/credible reason given, just kept repeating he had the right to refuse me. Maybe a Dr for $$s only,I believe. Perhaps I actually dodged a bullet? I want a real Doctor.
