Dr. Allen was very kind and explained the EMG process well. It was clear he had thoroughly reviewed my chart before seeing me. However, he gave little direction as to the next step after telling my I had nerve root damage. It kind of left me hanging, not knowing what to do about the diagnosis.
My neurologist for 40 years! Extremely kind, knowledgeable & responsive. Easy to talk to & he truly cares. I’ve seen other neurologists when I lived in a different state. NONE came close to the care I received from Dr. Allen. Tops in my book!
I don't know what I'd do without Dr. Allen. He is extremely thorough and even found another issue that no one else had acted on after my stroke. He called me at home at night and explained it in my terms and referred me to a wonderful ENT Surgeon and they worked together to get me well. He deserves to retire, but I don't know what I'd do without him. He actually 'listens' to you and doesn't jump to conclusions. I would recommend him to everyone!! Thanks, Dr. Allen!!
I saw Dr. Allen with a concern that a tremor might be Parkinson's disease. He was incredibly thorough, asked a lot of questions and took the time to explain everything to me. I think he is an outstanding doctor.
