Fantastic doctor. After months of going down hill, lost 44 lbs. In less than 6 months, getting weaker and weaker until I was in using a wheelchair. All doctors knew I had inflammation in my body, but didn't know where!!! Took all the tests that been done at Marion Hospital , and after looking at the results, he was suspicious of Inflamitory Vasculitus. One more blood tests, and he narrowed it down. I was just diagnosed with Lupus and have tried to get in with a rheumatologist for weeks. Dr. Scott's office scheduled me for Dec 22nd and the appointment has been set for over a month. Today they nonchalantly left me a message that the appointment has to be rescheduled because the doc will be gone (then why would they schedule me for that day in the first place???) Dr Scott is one of the best doctors I have ever encountered in my life. I've spent a lifetime hearing things like you're too young for that or that's not possible for one reason or another. Therefore I went many yrs undiagnosed until I was lucky enough to find Dr Scott. He pegged the fibromyalgia but also found an underlying condition which explained why I didnt fit just neatly into the fibro circle only.
