Sienknecht first brought rheumatology subspecialty care to this region when they opened this practice in 1975 at the Doctor's Building on McCallie Avenue in Chattanooga. With the addition of Dr. J. Eugene Huffstutter in 1984, the practice continued to grow and the name was changed to Arthritis Associates to best reflect the mission of the group to serve the future rheumatology needs of the Chattanooga area. They are AMAZING! Dr. Simpson and her staff are beyond words incredible.... Just have to experience an office visit to understand.... They re kind, patient, understanding, knowledgeable, helpful, they make me feel happy, calm, & comfortable and they never make me feel judged in any way....
Dr. Jessica Huffstutter is absolutely incredible. She was a great listener and validated me as I was explaining my experience. Her nurse Courtney was great, as were the lab and x-ray techs. Dr. Huffstutter treated me as if I was the only patient on her schedule and was extremely thorough in getting to the root of my issue. I am so grateful that she was there to guide me through a scary health episode.
Dr. Simpson is wonderful! She is very passionate about her work and explains things in depth. The wait was a little long but definitely worth it.
Dr. Elizabeth Simpson is simply my savior. As someone who suffers from lupus, sjögrens syndrome and rheumatoid arthritis, she is 10/10 the best. She got me working full time again, able to enjoy my life and accomplish my goals. A female rheumatologist literally changed the game for me. The infusion team (ESPECIALLY Tammy) is highly skilled and extremely kind and their empathy is palpable. I always feel better after seeing them.
