Told me my Chimney was "burned out" and needed to be replaced. He, of course, could provide this service at a cost of thousands of dollars. I had 3 other fireplace people out to my house and the fireplace simply needed some very minor repairs, to the tune of less than $100. I think he was simply trying to drum up business by lying to me about the condition of my fireplace. I would not recommend his service.

Absolute satisfaction. Seth was very professional and honest in his assessment of our fireplace situation as he diverted all future problems. Our gas log fireplace was inappropriately fitted to be wood burning. No one had told us this was a very hazardous choice. A very good cleaning was done and all is well!!

Excellent Work! – Seth Auld, Artful Duster, is an excellent chimney sweep. He is thorough and considerate. He is punctual. He gives extra tips on how to build wood fires and how to enjoy them safely. Would Never Hire Anyone Else! – Great guy and knows the business well. Started working with him eight years ago and never have gone back to my last sweep. All of my family uses Seth now and we think he has the best service in Kansas City!

Great, Friendly Service. – Seth came out on time and was very professional. Within three minutes he had saved our house from a future fire by informing us we shouldn't be burning real logs in our particular firebox. He recommended gas logs instead. Thank you Seth. He was quick, thorough, and clean. I will absolutely use him again and recommend him to anybody that cares about their fireplace.

Overland Park says – Found services on the internet. Feedback was good so we gave them a call. Seth came out and did a complete inspection. He was very detailed and informative with discussing everything during the inspection cleaning process. Provided contact information for others to address any possible future issues that might need future attention. Great price and great overall experience. Would recommend to anyone.

Ouch, expensive! – Called for a chimney sweep and inspection. After having chimney basically condemned (no surprise there), was told it wasn't worth cleaning and then charged $310 to put on a chimney cap and wire mesh over another flu that he didn't have the right sized cap for. 30 minutes of labor and $20 in parts that makes for a good profit, although I could conjure up a different adjective. On the other hand he was professional and did know his stuff, just be sure to ask for a complete and total estimate beforehand.
