I came on a Sunday and sat at the bar. There were other customers, but it wasn't very busy. My Painkiller and Mai Tai tasted good but weren't the classic recipe. The Painkiller, in particular, had a lot of rum and not much of the fruit and coconut flavor it's supposed to have -- so good on them for not being stingy with the alcohol, I guess. I’m not one to complain too much and before I get into the negatives-The food was fresh, well cooked and presented well. However the flavor balance wasn’t there and some items lacked flavor. The rice seemed like it was paraboiled(“instant rice”) and did not blend well with the dish. A kind request to be mindful of how many raw red onions are in a dish that’s not meant to be onion forward-red onions are very potent. Beautiful spot at the lake and I would go again because the food is fresh and well done otherwise
Gross bartender was super rude to my party. Hostile over a glass of water. So much for adding them to the crawl. Food was mid. Not flavored properly. Cheap ingredients cheap results.
Food was fine, I had three major issues with the evening…. 1. we ordered drinks and it was painfully slow to arrive to the table, we honestly almost left. 2. when my drink arrived (5 mins after our party got their drinks….) there was a hair in my drink 🤢….it was remade… but not comped….. 3. we were seated next to the entry door which was slamming all evening. please Install a slower close or add a rubber stopper. this place is in a great location and the food is decent. but tonight was a 2 star experience.
Best meal I had during our trip. Great flavors and friendly service. Wish I would have gone earlier to enjoy leftovers. Portions are large. Thanks to Patrick for being so attentive.
