I don't know when I started receiving phone calls, text messages, and emails from this company but I thoroughly dislike these intrusive ways to attempt to contact me. When ever I ask a recruiter where they got my information from they do not tell me. When ever I ask them to take me off of whatever list so they could stop calling me, they fall silent. I don't want to be harassed by this so-called company any more!

Artech doesn't read resumes...they send out inquires in hopes they can find a gullible individual. They were looking for a full time IT person in the mid-Atlantic states and they sent me an email. The Summary of my resume says I retired over 13 years ago, am willing to work 2 days per week within a local commute of my home near Boston, MA, have experience in chemical manufacturing (not IT) and am only willing to provide support to a chemical manufacturing firm. NOT EVEN ONE ITEM WAS CLOSE TO WHAT THEY WERE LOOKING FOR. In ad... read more

They find your number somewhere and send you repeated text messages many times a day from different people/ numbers! All requests to stop and delete information is ignored. I have texted, called and emailed and am still being harassed.

"About Artech Information Systems LLC" is another one of the hundreds of staffing agencies which: 1. Outsource their workforce to somewhere on the Indian Subcontinent. 2. Use sham US phone numbers 3. Never actually read resumes. 4. Are clueless about the fields for which they claim to be recruiting for. The most recent e-mail was from "Harshit Gupta" (I kid you not). How is it possible to block this sham firm from e-mailing job seekers in the US? I've read the other reviews which have been posted about this company. None are... read more

Artech - will not leave me alone about jobs - sending text constantly - will not leave me alone after repeatedly asking to be removed or unsubscribed from their system. Harassment! Stay away from them!

Business response:

Hello ******* we are sorry to hear about your experience with Artech. We have removed me from the ATS and you will not be contacted by Artech again. Sorry for the inconvenience caused.

They copy and paste (a bad job at that) old job postings from other sites and ask for very personal information while providing little to no details about who the job is with, how much it pays, or even what type of company or work it is. I occasionally reply to them from a burner email or phone number when I get bored just to see what happens.

This is a scam! I went through an entire hiring process with them, gave my info, got a "start date" and all. They were supposed to send a laptop, never received it. Start date came and I haven't heard anything from anyone. Sent an email to one of the "recruiters" and immediately she responded the start date was delayed. Moments later, I get a generated email stated it's been cancelled after I've already paid $60 for a background check using my finger prints. That was supposed to be reimbursed on my "first check". After that,... read more

They are compiling a list of social security numbers and are re-using old job descriptions (that are no longer available) to encourage people to provide the last 4 digits of the social security number (which are the most important ones!). They are absolutely scam. I was contacted in December 2019, I was not even looking for a job. They provided a job description from three years ago and when I contacted the company that supposedly put out this job, they informed me that it was a scam.

Business response:

Dear Ms. *******, Artech is a leader in the staffing industry, and we pledge our continued commitment to enabling your success. Regarding the request for the last 4 digits of your SSN; some of our client's protocol dictates that we submit a candidate's resume along with their DDMM or SSN + their Legal Name as it appears on a Driver’s License or Social Security card. It is used to check duplicity and multiple submissions of a candidate, and your name and DL/SSN combination make you unique in the system. We assure you that the... read more
